About Rudy
Rudy Cuzzetto is a lifelong resident and a passionate advocate for the lakefront communities of Mississauga-Lakeshore, where his family’s roots run four generations deep.
He grew up in Port Credit, where his original family home is designated as a heritage property – the “Cuzzetto Residence” – under the Ontario Heritage Act.
Together with his wife Marie and sons Michael and Joey, Rudy now lives in Lorne Park. He has served on the local ratepayer’s association, parent councils, and as a Board member and property manager at the Mississauga Canoe Club.
Rudy worked at Ford Motor Company’s Oakville assembly plant for 31 years, most recently as a Vehicle Auditor. He’s also a 31-year union member, first with the Canadian Auto Workers, and then Unifor.
In 2019, Rudy was appointed as Parliamentary Assistant to the President of the Treasury Board, with responsibility for Internal Audit. He has also served on the Standing Committees on Agencies, Estimates, and Public Accounts.
